Dr. Bivin Wilson is a young, dynamic Interventional Cardiologist attached to G Kuppusamy Naidu Memorial (GKNM) Hospital in Coimbatore. He holds an MBBS, which he received from Calicut University through Trichur Medical College in 2000; an MD in General Medicine from Goa Medical College, Goa University (2007); and, a DNB in Cardiology from the National Board of Examinations, through GKNM Hospital, in 2011.   

Dr. Bivin Wilson has been with GKNM Hospital since the last two years and is designated as a Junior Consultant. He regularly performs Coronary Angiograms and Angioplasties. He also assists in procedures such as Balloon Mitral Valvotomy, Device closures and Permanent Pacemaker implantation. Earlier, as DNB Registrar Cardiology for three years at GKNM, he gained much experience in performing Coronary Angiograms through the Radial approach, and also with other interventional procedures including Angioplasty.      

Dr. Wilson did his residency at Goa Medical College from 2003 to 2007, He has also worked as Junior Doctor at Little Flower Hospital (Angamaly, Kerala) for six months, and as RMO at St. Mary's Hospital (Koratty, Kerala) for a year.  

Dr. Bivin Wilson has wide knowledge on cardiac and vascular diseases. He is well trained in performing Transthoracic and Transoesophageal Echocardiograms, as well as most Interventional procedures. He has good experience in CCU/ICU management, and prides himself in his ability to work long hours. Dr. Wilson is also proficient in research and clinical trials, and has co-authored and presented several research papers at national and international conferences.
